Military police protect the lives and property on Army installations by enforcing military laws and regulations. They also control traffic, prevent crime and respond to all emergencies.
This is an entry level position with no experience necessary.
Position Responsibilities
As a Military Police Officer, you will aid the force by conducting law enforcement patrols in both a local and forward deployed environments, interview witnesses, victims and suspects in investigations, provide crime scene security as well as arrest and charge suspects. Some of your day to day duties may include providing security for special events, managing traffic on your assigned base and much more!
REQUIREMENTS
- Complete the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB)
- Attend One Stop Unit Training (OSUT) for 20 weeks with pay
Basic Qualifications:
- Age - 17 to 34 years old
- Education – High School graduate or GED holder; high school seniors also qualify
- Citizenship - U.S. Citizen/Permanent Resident
- Willing to undergo background and medical screening
