This is a Work at Home position. The duty station will be the selectee's home address.

This is a NON-BARGAINING unit position.

Qualifications:
NOTE: This position is advertised as an OPEN CONTINUOUS with 1 CUT-OFF date. Applicants that apply by the CUT-OFF date will be considered first. This announcement may close prior to the closing date. This announcement may also be extended if needed, and additional CUT-OFF dates may be set as requested by management. The first CUT-OFF date is February 12, 2020.

EXPERIENCE: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the grade 05 level in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes: experience with basic data collection procedures; providing assistance with training session scheduling and monitoring quality of work products.
OR
EDUCATION: One full year of graduate level education OR superior academic achievement. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.

EXPERIENCE: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the grade 07 level in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes assisting with the conduct of recruiting of applicants; making arrangements for training facilities; reviewing the work of office and field staff; and experience providing assistance in areas such as office automation, equipment, administrative operations, and travel arrangements.

EDUCATION: Master's or equivalent graduate degree OR Two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.B. OR J.D., if related. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.

EXPERIENCE: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the grade 09 level in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes monitoring and guiding aspects of an organization's recruitment efforts; monitoring costs and progress of projects; providing oversight to formal training and administrative programs.

EDUCATION: PH.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.M., if related. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
GG-0301-12:
EXPERIENCE: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the grade 11 level in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes: providing oversight to data collection programs and projects; analyzing demographic data and information; providing quality control oversight for information collected in support of office operations, and experience providing administrative support to office management.
EDUCATION: No substitution of education for experience is permitted at the GG-12 level.
Responsibilities:
The individual selected for this position will:
- Research, resolve, and clarify any problem, as necessary.
- Provide training when required to staff, including on-site assistance as necessary.
- Responsible for providing administrative guidance to the ACO managers in order to assure timely, orderly and efficient conduct of decennial operations.
- Monitor the ACO recruiting operations by working closely with Government Partnership Specialists, Community Outreach and Media Partnership Specialists.
- Maintain contact with appropriate referral services in order to identify recruitment efforts and resolve recruitment and publicity problems.
- Serve as a technical problem-solver/troubleshooter involving daily telephone contact and regular visits to assigned ACOs and assigned geographical areas.
