This position is in Jackson, MS.
The Bulk Load Operator is primarily responsible is to operate and understand the Automatic Bag Placer, Automatic Palletizer, including the stretch-wrap machine, Dense Phase 4, and Fuller Kinyon procedures.
Essential Job Functions:
- Must be knowledgeable of product sampling plans.
- Must be able to program the in-line bag printer.
- Must be able to operate a stretch-wrap machine.
- Must be able to complete all quality control charts.
- Must prevent contamination of feed products with activated adsorbents and catalysts.
- Must understand the use of PPE.
- Must know the location of all pertinent electrical disconnects and completely understands the Lock Out/Tag Out procedure.
- Must be able to complete all down time tracking forms
- Must be able to operate a fork truck.
- Must be knowledgeable of the location and use of safety showers and fire extinguishers in the area.
- Must keep work area clear and clean of all trash, debris, and excess clay spillage.
- Possesses a thorough understanding both of job-related safety hazards, safe lifting techniques and operating procedures of the forklift and properly fill out safety inspections for forklifts as per Mobile Equipment Inspection Form.
- Must follow all applicable procedures and work instructions to assure feed products, adsorbents and catalysts are manufactured to meet customer specifications.
- Responsible to meet site safety requirements and quality and food/feed safety requirements
- Other similar duties, as assigned.
