Position Summary:
Assists with developing and implementing programs to assist student-athletes with transition into the college environment. Acts as a liaison with university departments to ensure player needs are addressed and met as they relate to academics and/or personal problems. Assists with coordinating personal development initiatives, learning opportunities and community service opportunities for basketball student-athletes. Identifies and monitors at-risk student-athletes. Assists with coordinating events for former athletes in conjunction with Blazer Boosters. Adheres to all institution, conference and NCAA rules and regulations and reports all known NCAA violations in accordance with institutional, conference and NCAA policies and guidelines.
Bachelor's degree in a related field and two (2) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
