This position is responsible for providing management of the human resources management system (HRMS) while concurrently facilitating efficient operations to meet current and future business needs within Human Resources. Responsible for analyzing and directing all functional related activities within the scope of HRMS. This position is accountable for ensuring continuity and successful delivery of functional services to users throughout UC Health.

Responsible for analyzing and directing all functional related activities within the scope of HRMS. This position is accountable for ensuring continuity and successful delivery of functional services to users throughout UC Health.
Responsibilities
- Lead the HRMS team in managing the day-to-day activities to support HR, payroll and other interrelated functions.
- Serve as an interface between internal/external customers and the functional team members to ensure effective definition and delivery of HRMS applications.
- Provide overall prioritization of work assignments and management of functional team resources and activities.
- Promote proactive approaches to solve business needs/problems.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures ensuring procedural integrity of HRMS functions and databases.
- Build and maintain a strong functional HRMS team through effective training, coaching, team building and succession planning. Assess and build on the skills and skill levels necessary to achieve HRMS work objectives.
- Foster and maintain positive relationships with HRMS constituents. Based on business need, building ongoing relationships with IT and other key customers. Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements for system, interfaces, and modifications. Coach, advise and provide technical assistance to the human resource team and managers to increase proficiency and responsiveness in service delivery areas.
- Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion. Oversee and manage the HRMS systems in collaboration with functional and technical staff (i.e. ERP, recruitment, onboarding, benefits, payroll, performance management, learning, integration between all systems and vendors). Leverage innovative business intelligence and technology solutions to drive continuous quality improvement. Review impending business projects or issues that have a direct impact on HRMS activities. Engages in research, analysis, identification and resolution and provides Management with an assessment of the HRMS impact and other information required for a complete business case.
- Write, maintain and support a variety of complex audits, reports and queries on demand for business requirements. Audits and maintains the data integrity of all HRMS systems. Lead the review, develop test plans and oversee the implementation of HRMS system upgrades or patches.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of employment regulations, industry trends, current practices, new developments, applicable laws, and employment legislation pertaining to all personnel matters, and various federal requirements including ACA.
- Other duties as assigned.
