Under supervision, performs a variety of Grounds maintenance and repair functions including but not limited to: litter pick up, cultivating, trimming of shrubs and small trees, fertilizing, planting and irrigation repairs. Operates grounds power tools and machinery.

Your Role on the Team
- Ability to effectively communicate orally, in writing or electronically. Required
- Apply problem solving skills and use sound judgment. Required
- Knowledge and ability to maintain irrigation systems Required
- Skill in operating trenchers, tractors, roto-tillers and other commonly used pieces of power driven grounds equipment. Required
- Demonstrate knowledge of commonly used Southern California plant material, their cultural requirements, pests and diseases. Required
- Ability to effectively work independently or in teams Required
- Skill to safely use both hand and power tools and equipment. Required
- Ability to follow through and carry out assignments Required
- Ability to identify undesirable plant material. Required
- Knowledge and skill to operate commonly used grounds equipment and tools. Required
