In this high-profile position, you will direct our Patient Access Services Department that handles functional and financial operations relating to the admission and registration of patients at our hospitals. You will have direct responsibility for planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating operations as well as personnel management. You will also prepare and monitor budgets; and act as liaison between the Patient Access Services Department and Medical Records, Utilization Review Management, Medical Coding, Transplant Services, Patient Business Services, Managed Care Contracting, and International Relations.
We’re seeking a self-motivated, customer-focused leader with:
· Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration or a related field – Master’s preferred
· Five or more years of director-level experience in Patient Access Services
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to effectively collaborate as a part of a multidisciplinary team
· Demonstrated professionalism, patient and customer focused
· Familiar with hospital, Federal, State, and departmental policy/procedure manuals or directives
