About Us
We are a 20 year old company looking for a qualified professional, with advanced experience in the Commercial Cleaning Industry, and skilled knowledge and experience with professional floor care and carpet cleaning. Our clients include governmental agencies, multi-family communities, class A office spaces, schools, and stand-alone commercial properties.
The ideal candidate for this position will have at least 2 years of related experience in outside sales, industry specific contacts and experience in building maintenance, janitorial, carpet cleaning and floor care and multi-family operations. We welcome strong candidates ready to join an established team and growing clientele. You must understand and be committed to the full sales cycle: Prospect/Present/Proposal and Post-sale Relationship Maintenance; yet also be aware that not every presentation will result in a sale.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Acquires new customers by reaching out to prospective clients.
- Helps to position company on bid lists, and RFPs from commercial and governmental clients.
- Researches customer’s individual or business needs and coordinates bid process with Operations.
- Be an advocate for client success and needs.
- Maintains documentation of customer contact and account updates.
- Collaborates with internal colleagues on opportunities for cross selling of services.
- Represents company with involvement in various industry and affiliate organization meetings and events, including some after-hours functions and events.
- Supervise employees
- Run day to day operations
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Bachelor’s degree (ideal but not required)
- Be a people person with Commitment to Customer service
- Can prospect by cold calling and identifying key decision makers.
- Desire to promote company objectives in addition to personal sales targets and goals
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and comfort in making presentations
- Prospecting and lead generation experience and delivery
- Persuasion, negotiation, and closing skills
- Ability and motivation to meet deadlines and financial goal minimums
- Strong computer skills and creativity in presenting
- Ability to entertain customers and prospects
