Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities:

• Drive Customer Service Activities to Support Brokers.
• Enhance the Customer’s Experience with UCW.
• Utilize the company’s TMS to enter and maintain customer orders.
• Ensure Customer and Location Profile Information is Accurate in McLeod.
• Schedule Pickup and Delivery Appointments for New Orders.
• Track and Trace Freight as Assigned for On-Time Pickup and Delivery.
• Communicate Issues with Brokers, Carriers and Customers.
• Update Shipment Status in McLeod.
• Request Proof of Delivery (POD) at Time of Delivery.
• Provide Customers with Requested Documentation.
• Search for Opportunities to Provide Additional Support to Customers and Carriers.
• Work with Accounting Team to Request Carriers Invoice with Supporting Documents for All Orders Older than 7 Days.
• Provide Backup Support for Other Customer Service Representatives.
• Work independently and produce successful completion of all assigned duties.

Experience:

• Bilingual a major plus.
• Transportation Industry experience preferred.
• Experience with McLeod and Transportation Management Systems helpful.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective verbal and written communicate skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
