Overview
Maintains and enhances the Laboratory Information System (LIS), Anatomic Pathology (AP), Blood Bank (BB) and other laboratory systems, including development of policies and procedures and operational procedures. Develops and conducts training programs for laboratory users; supports training needs of non-laboratory users. Acts as liaison between Laboratory, Information Services, clinical users and the LIS/AP vendor(s).
Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:: BS in Medical Technology or related field required. 2-3 years laboratory experience at the technologist level required. 2-3 years working with laboratory computer systems preferably with installation experience is required. Motor Vehicle Operator Designation (Required):: Will operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a �non-frequent driver� Licensure/Certification/Registration:: AHCA Board of Clinical Laboratory Personnel license as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist required.
