Responsibilities
The File Clerk (25 hours per week) obtains all necessary documentation needed for filing into medical records charts. Assures all records are neat and manageable while following regulations.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Obtain client medical record information from clinicians and office staff daily
- Organize charts in file chart room
- Assure that filing is completed daily and in a timely manner
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships within the agency and related sources
- Other duties as requested by management
Qualifications
- Ability to prioritize work assignments and manage time properly
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs.
- 0-1 year of filing experience in an outpatient medical office preferred
- High School Diploma / GED required
- Candidate must possess appropriate citizenship work documentation
- Candidate must pass a CORI and drug test, as well as other pre-employment documentation
- Candidate must provide proof of Covid-19 Vaccination Card or appropriate religious / medical exemption. Card must possess at least either two Moderna Vaccinations, two Pfizer vaccinations, or a J&J vaccination with an additional Moderna/Pfizer vaccination.
