What are the responsibilities and job description for the Floor Tech - Part Time position at UHS of Delaware, Inc.?

Responsibilities:
Harbor Point Behavioral Health Center offers intensive residential treatment services within a secure setting. Our programs are designed to meet the needs of youth ages 7- 17 who are experiencing emotional, psychiatric and educational difficulties. In addition to our general psychiatric programs, we also offer specialty programs for youth with more serious challenges. Harbor Point and its programs are fully accredited by The Joint Commission and the Virginia Association of Independent Specialized Educational Facilities. We are licensed by The Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services and the Virginia Department of Education. We are a TRICARE®-approved and certified facility.

We are currently hiring a select group of people committed to making a difference by improving lives and helping young people prepare for adulthood.

Position Scope:
Maintains the facility in a clean, sanitary, orderly and attractive condition to provide a suitable environment for residents, staff and visitors.

Responsibilities:
1. Maintains Physical Plant
2. Provides Service Excellence
3. Perform cleaning and maintenance of all flooring
4. Utilize the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure
5. Operate and maintain all equipment correctly and safely
6. Observe safety precautions at all times
7. Reports safety hazards as appropriate

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must possess knowledge of and ability to use cleaning equipment and compounds; ability to operate all cleaning equipment; to follow written and oral instructions.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school graduate, GED or equivalent experience.

Experience:
One or more year’s housekeeping experience preferred.

Requirements:
Works in and around RTC campus including general office areas and clinical areas. Some risk involved in the event of aggressive/out-of- control resident. Requires physical exertion and flexibility to stoop, climb, lift weight in excess of 30lbs.; good hearing and vision; mobility and dexterity in both arms to operate tools; exposed to all weather conditions and temperatures; shift may involve evenings, weekends, holidays, overtime.
