Millwood Hospital is a 134-bed mental health facility that provides inpatient and outpatient mental health and chemical dependency treatment. Millwood’s caring, and multidisciplinary staff has successfully provided inpatient and outpatient mental health and chemical dependency care to children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults since 1971. Millwood Hospital is located in Arlington, TX in the heart of the city.  It is 5 minutes away from AT&T Stadium home of the Dallas Cowboys. The hospital is less than 35 minutes from DFW International Airport. (PRN) Inpatient Licensed Group Therapist:

The Program Therapist performs behavioral health care clinical functions to include assisting patients in meeting their biopsychosocial needs with ongoing assessment, treatment planning, behavioral management, enhancement of coping skills, family therapy and discharge planning.

Qualifications

Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field.

 

 

Requires a minimum of one-three (1-3) years experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; must have strong clinical assessment skills.

 

 

Must possess a state licensure: LPC, LPC-A, LMSW or LCSW licenses.

 

 

CPR and CPI training must be completed prior to beginning work. 

 

 

Must be able to pass a competency exam for the area upon hire.  May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.
