What are the responsibilities and job description for the Unit Coordinator - Per Diem position at UHS of Delaware, Inc.?
Willow Springs Center has an immediate opening for a Per Diem Unit Coordinator/Resident Mentor to work in our Residential Treatment Center.
The Unit Coordinators also serve as Resident Mentors. Resident Mentors work as members of the treatment team alongside other mental health professionals, therapists and nurses. They assist in observing patient behavior on an ongoing basis to monitor the effectiveness of treatment plans and document progress in patient charts. Resident Mentors assist with programs, activities of daily living, recreational opportunities and meals.

Education: High School graduate or equivalent. College credits toward a behavioral science (Psychology, Social Work and Sociology) undergraduate degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum one year in a psychiatric/mental health or healthcare setting; demonstrated knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques; demonstrated understanding of mental illness and related behavioral management techniques. At least 1 year clerical experience required.
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements may be considered.
