Responsibilities
Position Summary
Perform the duties of Executive Assistant to CEO and Senior Management Team, including follow through with emphasis on independent action and initiative. Often acts as initial contact for hospital administration.
Essential Functions
1. Serves as administrative “troubleshooter” and liaison to all levels of hospital staff. Provides appropriate problem resolution and/or coordinates communication with internal and corporate staff.
2. Follows-up to ensure resolution.
3. Exercises independent judgment and initiative when responding to routine internal and external inquiries, orally, or in writing by email or otherwise, as assigned.
4. Manages time so as to be effectively responsive to the daily needs of the Executive Office.
5. Maintains Hospital Policy & Procedure Manual, appropriately handling distribution of new/revised policies to hospital staff, as well as ensuring policies are kept updated on the public drive.
6. Ensures policy manual is kept current by replacing old policies with most recent version and adding new policies as requested.
7. Maintains Outlook Calendar for the CEO keeping him/her apprised of him/her activities on a day to day basis.
8. Plans, organizes, implements and demonstrates initiative in the handling of assigned projects and completes them in a timely fashion.
9. Provides timely follow-up and monitoring of projects assigned within the organization and assists in their timely completion.
10. As requested, arranges (and/or assists in arranging and coordinating) hospital events, trainings, and/or social functions for CEO and other hospital staff, as assigned.
Qualifications
Business Office and administrative skills equivalent to two years of college preferred
