Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health Center is a 182-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in the beautiful Oakwood Park neighborhood of Fort Lauderdale, FL. FLBHC features individual units for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. On average, over 10,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health Center.
The Dietitian provides nutrition screening education of Dietary Department staff by conducting screens and consultation. Approves all patient menus and provides consultation to Dietary Director.

Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with an emphasis in nutrition; Masters preferred.
Licensure:
- Registered as a Licensed Dietitian in the state of Florida. Registration with American Dietetic Association.
Experience:
- Three (3) years experience in food service. Experience in dietary supervision preferred. Experience in a healthcare food service facility preferred.
- Must have knowledge of record keeping, menu planning, therapeutic diets, and purchasing practices.
