Clive Behavioral Health

 

Clive Behavioral Health (CBH) is a 134-bed licensed inpatient behavioral health hospital, operating on two campuses in Iowa. Clive Behavioral Health West opened in February 2021 with 100 inpatient beds for adult, child & adolescent patients experiencing a severe behavioral health crisis. Care at this location focuses on crisis management, stabilization and development of a plan to return to community living with, if needed, supportive outpatient services and community services and resources. Clive Behavioral Health Des Moines is a 34-bed inpatient location operated by CBH on the MercyOne Des Moines campus. Care at this location will be for adults experiencing a severe behavioral health crisis.

Qualifications

Education/Infection Control Nurse

Education:  A graduate of an appropriately accredited school of nursing, is licensed by the Iowa State Board of Nursing to practice as a Registered Nurse and demonstrates an understanding of the principles of epidemiology and infectious disease in the hospital. Bachelor's Degree preferred.  

Experience:  A minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a Registered Nurse.

Licensure:  Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Iowa.  Preferred certification in Infection Prevention/Control (CIC).

Additional Requirements:  A thorough knowledge of TJC, Medicare, OSHA regulations and all other state and federal regulatory standards.

 

Work Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm
