POSITION SUMMARY: Assures supply availability to meet the demands of the Cath Lab/EP Lab and Specials Departments or the Surgical Services Departments. Operates as the lead person for materials and equipment issues in support of Cath Lab/EP Lab and Specials Departments or of the Surgical Services Departments. Interacts with physicians, nursing staff and vendors to determine if supply needs are satisfactory to support direct patient care.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Manages the Cath/EP Lab and Specials or the Surgical Services inventory.
• Evaluates stock levels to determine if assets are sufficient to accommodate demand.
• Reviews and enters data in the McKesson PMM/HSS and Q-Sight (Cath/EP Lab and Specials) inventory systems.
• Receives supplies, stocks lockers, adjusts par levels as required and monitors expiration dates.
• Maintains consignment levels.
• Interacts with vendors regarding consigned and expired products.
• Coordinates with other healthcare facilities to loan and borrow supplies and equipment.
• Reviews the Cath/EP Lab or Surgery schedules to assure that products are available when needed.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE AND LICENSES/REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Associates Degree preferred
• 5 years hospital and supply experience preferred
