We offer medical detox as well as residential addictions treatment for active duty and retired military service members in our North Stonington location. Our clinic in Groton, CT, offers partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient treatment, and is conveniently located across the street from The Inn at Trails Corner, a new 180 bed dormitory-style sober community for adult men and women who attend our outpatient day treatment programs. The Inn offers overnight accommodations, full-meal service, indoor/outdoor recreation options, a workout room, and computer center for all clients. We accept private insurance, state-funded plans and self-pay arrangements.
Job Summary:
The IT Specialist is responsible for set up, inventory and ordering of computers and computer supplies for staff. Also coordinates computer and phone system upgrades and maintenance. Serves as help desk to users.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to travel between facilities as needed to accomplish tasks.
- Set up computer systems for staff, to include Outlook, shared drives and accessories such as printers/scanners.
- Maintain inventory of computer equipment, updating as hardware is replaced/moved.
- Serve as resource to staff with computer or phone questions. Is on-call 24/7 as help desk to users which also may require on-site support.
- Set up phone systems and voice mail for new locations/staff.
- Complete UHS help desk tickets when unable to resolve issues and follow through to ensure resolution.
- Coordinate with UHS and vendor contacts to troubleshoot and repair systems.
- Plan and install voice/data and computer networks as necessitated by moves and construction.
- Maintain a Windows 20xx Server environment.
- Maintain multiple and different types of phone systems.
- Maintenance of foreign systems i.e. MTS Call Accounting.
- Maintain integrity of all networks as well as repair of all voice and data systems.
- Other duties as assigned by CFO.

Qualifications
Degree in computer technology and/or significant experience with maintaining and upgrade computer software and hardware.
Valid driver’s license and dependable mode of transportation.
