Manatee Memorial Hospital provides couplet care, which allows mom and baby to stay together from birth to hospital discharge. Couplet care helps promote family bonding and supports successful breastfeeding.
Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.ÿ Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times. Other duties as assigned.ÿÿ

Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program. Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility. BLS, ACLS, AWON, PALS requiredÿ Refer to Section IV ?Unit/Department Specialty Specific Requirements? for additional minimal qualifications and/or certifications FLÿNursing License. High School Graduate or equivalent
Prefer one year full time or three years part-time experience in L &D unit. ÿ ÿ
