Summary:
Serves as data analysist and IT project manager for the office of Enrollment Management. Creates, compiles from numerous sources, and distributes enrollment data reports to various campus constituents. Explores new methods for delivering and visualizing data. Acts as co-administrator for internal information systems which includes CRM, workflow, application, and event modules. Serves as IT project manager for various initiatives, including interfacing with other campus IT groups and external vendors.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Act as IT project management lead for various Enrollment Management initiatives, including Slate CRM, data interfaces to/from Banner and various vendors. Make recommendations for enhancements projects, prioritize, plan, test, and implement such projects. Act as IT project manager related to Slate APP interfaces.
Create, analyze, and distribute data from various sources on a scheduled and ad-hoc basis. Includes all necessary gathering of data from various sources and utilization of Business Objects, SQL, query modules in CRM, and Tableau. Use of SQL to build reports and manage relational databases.
Collaborate on CRM software implementation and maintenance, including training and user support of various campus users. Communicate enhancements, changes to software to campus constituents and work closely with the Director of Admissions on decision-making related to CRM usage.
Implements various CRM data interfaces, including to and from external vendors and internal SIS (BANNER). Requires creation of access methods, file structures, testing, troubleshooting, and validation of data. Monitors all interfaces for successful completion of transfer. Develops and monitors protocols for access to systems. Provides guidance and support to Director of Admissions and Acting Associate Provost for Enrolment Management related to data analysis to be used in enrollment management decision-making.
Creates and maintains documentation to support IT functions. Reviews and supplements documentation provided by vendors. Develops regular implementation and testing plans.
Monitor and evaluates new software products/vendors that are available to enhance business processes and provide feedback and recommendations for new product development and implementation. Advises Director of Admissions on software products to enhance current admission functions.
Additional duties: Acts as software vendor liaison. Presents on future plans. Performs other duties as assigned.
