SUMMARY
Responsible for developing and monitoring the delivery of quality services to Mayacama crew members. Provide support and training to staff and persons served to facilitate program objectives and goals of people who use services. Coordinate customized employment services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Manage intakes, assessments, orientations, work assignments and paid internships of persons served. Ensure appropriate funding authorizations. Initiate referrals and complete reports as needed.
2. Ensure timely development and implementation of all crewmember goal plans. Conduct planning meetings annually and as needed. Ensure that files contain current IPP’s and documentation.
3. Maintain positive working relationships and timely communication with local agencies, families, referral agents and care providers. Submit daily attendance and quarterly reports to the Ukiah Adult School.
4. Monitor activities and program services, track, and report on outcome evaluation goals quarterly. Facilitate client input and feedback on individual and programmatic issues.
5. Advocate for crewmembers and support them to self-advocate.
6. Ensure timely completion and accuracy of crewmember productivity evaluations and hourly wage rates in compliance with federal and state regulations and standards.
7.Train staff in crewmember representative responsibilities and facilitate utilization of "good to great” tools to encourage a learning environment.
8. Maintain records and reports according to CARF standards.
9. Chair Quality Review and Records Review Committees.
10. Model positive behavior supports by making positive statements to crewmembers at least once every three minutes per crewmember.
11. Help schedule and participate in alternative services and job coach as needed.
12. Align behaviors with U.V.A.H.’s Mission, Vision, and Code of Ethics.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises up to five employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, people who use services, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Possession of valid California driver’s license and DMV printout
CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
Pro-Act certification preferred.

Ability to communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service.
Ability to set up and participate in online communications.
