Job Posting for Home Health Office Assistant / Program Coordinator at Ultimate Care Group
Our home health care office is in need of a Program Coordinator to assist with programs and administrative operations. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who takes leadership seriously and understands the time-sensitive and demands of a home health care facility. The successful candidate will supervise caregivers, direct cares and see to administrative tasks related to staffing and programs coordination. We are interested in hiring a long-term staff member who has experience with recruiting, scheduling,direct care supervising. Assist with hiring care givers
Meet with health care staff and residents to determine their concerns and needs on an ongoing basis
Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and requirements as well as in-house expectations
Create scheduling procedures and protocols to ensure that all homes are adequately covered at all times
Available for staff coverage
Provide clerical support
Process paperwork and maintain files
Assist with staff scheduling and respond to Inquiry calls.
Assist with taking applications, scheduling interviews and doing reference checks.
Participate with new employee orientations
Answers the phone in a courteous and pleasant manner and transfers the call to the appropriate person.
Be on call, (be able to answer after hour phone call for minimum of one –TWO week in a month)
Must be able to train staff, correct staff, perform quality checks and report to appropriate manager
knowledge of Home Care and Assisted living programs is helpful
Knowledge of Waiver programs, PCA, Homemaking a plus.
Must be a self starter.
Facilitate family / community support
Other duties as assigned
Will training the right person
Must have a car
Flexible with time.
Able to bend, reach, lift, travel and take stairs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $36,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year
