What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Operator position at Ultimate LLC?
CNC Operator
Ultimate LLC is looking to hire CNC Operators for commercial projects in the Boerne, TX area. The pay range of a CNC Operator is $19-26 per hour based on experience. The majority of our position’s hours range from 45 to 50 hours a week. CNC Operator applicants must have a personal vehicle and be prepared for carpentry work up to 40 hours a week. Ultimate LLC provides weekly pay for all CNC Operators with no week in the hole.
Ultimate CNC Operator responsibilities
- Operating and/or programming of CNC machines (Joinery Machine)
- Operating and/or programming of CNC planer
- Following all CNC Standard Operating Procedures
- Machine maintenance & troubleshooting
- Effectively manage time to meet set schedules for production
- Adjusting machine to specifications and to maximize machining capabilities
- Ensuring most efficient use of raw materials •
- Ensuring machinery/work areas are kept clean and OSHA compliant •
- Material handling (large timbers) •
- Operating a Forklift
Ultimate CNC Operator requirements
Ability to read technical drawings & a tape measure
Time management skills
Minimum of 2-years CNC experience preferred
Experience with CAD programs (AutoCAD preferred)
Problem-solving and mathematics skills
Reliable and self-motivated
Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
