Branch Manager

Our client, a leader in Pacific Northwest transportation & Storage for over 65 years, is seeking a highly motivated Branch Manager to lead their team in Tacoma, WA. This dynamic role offers the challenge of driving sales, managing a team, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Generate new business leads, develop relationships, and achieve sales goals.
• Oversee all branch operations to ensure customer satisfaction, adherence to company policies, and safety regulations.
• Lead, coach, train, and supervise staff to achieve performance goals.
• Manage expenses to meet budget targets.
• Develop and deliver presentations highlighting company services.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard new staff.
• Perform administrative duties like timesheet approval, paperwork preparation, and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role within the transportation or related industry (operations or sales preferred).
• Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to set priorities, make decisions, and adapt to changing demands.
• P&L management experience and budgeting skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to exceptional customer service.
