What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Buyer position at Ultimate Staffing?
Ultimate Staffing is working with a Manufacturing company based in Allen, TX. We are searching for a Senior Buyer with at least 3 years of purchasing experience. This position will be responsible for using maintaining all MRP related computer data files and places purchase orders with approved Suppliers.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in ERP implementation for Purchasing; recommend improvements.
- Establish best practices for:
- Purchase Orders/Requisitions
- Supplier Quality Management
- Engineer Change Orders (ECO)
- Capital Equipment Purchases
- Supplier Specification and Approval
- Safety Data Sheets and Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMR)
- Plan raw material orders, monitor inventory, and manage supplier relations.
- Process requisitions, change orders, and maintain data accuracy.
- Administer MRB function, prepare bid packages, and identify new suppliers.
- Analyze material usage and maintain production schedules.
- Prepare reports and maintain MRP II database accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years in Purchasing/Planning.
- CPM or CPIM certification preferred.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and organization skills.

Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
