We are currently looking for a full time Operations Assistant to join the team!
Operations Assistant Position Summary:

Operations Assistant Location: Tequesta
Operations Assistant Qualifications:
- High school diploma with minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is required or,
- Associate degree in business with minimum 1 year experience in manufacturing, medical device is preferred.
Operations Assistant Responsibilities
- Monday to Friday
- 9am-5pm
- $21-22/hr
- Printing and storage of labels.
- Labeling finished products.
- Label destruction of old Revisions.
- Assist in the investigation/reconciliation for count and lot number discrepancies.
- Assist in counting/reconciling consigned inventory counts.
- Move products between inventory locations.
- Maintain Finished Goods Warehouse in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain Raw Materials Warehouse in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support the development of SOP's/Work Instructions for the area.
- Support Shipping and Receiving activities.
- Process outbound shipments including sorting, packing, and shipping while ensuring that the correct items and documentation are enclosed.
- Communicate special instrument and tray requirements to Operations and inform Service Department when items are in critical need.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels through reporting low levels of items to Purchasing, the Inventory Control Specialist and Customer Support/Sales department.
- Maintain a records management system for shipping and inventory transfers paperwork.
- Assist in the response of requests for tracking of missing shipments.
- Receive surgical instrument and implant trays from field returns.
- Maintain accurate records of returned part and Lot numbers.
- Process received items via transactions in the inventory management system to move components from consigned locations back to Captiva Spine inventory.
- Process returned instrument and implant trays through established cleaning/sterilizing procedures.
- Interface with quality inspection to disposition instruments through the internal service process.
- Perform some instrument repairs that require basic hand tools.
- Some light mechanical assembly.
- Assemble Rail Locks into Smart LOX plates.
- Update and maintain Service Log, Lot inspection log, Tray Tracker, Scorecard.
- Run location inventory reports.
- Maintain partial trays/populate when inventory is available.
