Temporary Bank Teller -Federal Way, WA (3-6 months)
Location: Federal Way, WA, US
Pay Rate: $21-24/hr DOE
Contract Length: 3-6 Months
Our client has worked to create trusting relationships within an exclusive group of public servants for almost 90 years. The Temporary Financial Service Consultant I is responsible for establishing new member relationships and interfacing with members to provide a full-service experience. This position is a temporary (3-6 months) position.
Typical responsibilities:
- Establish new member relationships.
- Identify and recommend products, services, and loan opportunities to meet individual member needs. Transfer members to lending certified financial service consultants to complete the loan application process.
- Process and manage member accounts and related transactions such as deposits (e.g., savings and checking), investment accounts (e.g., Certificates, IRAs, Trusts), and/or opening new and sub-accounts.
- Process cash transactions for members and maintain cash drawers and daily balance of vaults and branch cash.
- Process new card orders, PIN changes, and reissue cards.
- Initiate credit/ debit card fraud claims and charge disputes.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties and assignments as needed.
- May travel as occasionally to attend meetings, conferences, training, or other work-related events.
Basic Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 6 months' experience working at a bank or credit union.
