Job Description
? Manage HR administrative functions, including payroll, benefits administration, and record-keeping.
? Calculate payroll wages, deductions, and taxes, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
? Manage the annual benefits renewal process, including Open Enrollment meetings.
? Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
? Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
? Participate in employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale and retention. Training and Development:
? Identify training needs within the organization and develop appropriate solutions.
? Monitor training effectiveness and make adjustments as necessary. Performance Management:
? Manage the annual performance appraisal processes.
? Provide guidance to managers on performance feedback and goal setting.
? Identify opportunities for employee development and advancement.
? Oversee HR personnel in the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and interviews.
? Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
Requirements Skills, Qualifications and Attributes:
? Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related field
? 4 years experience in a similar role within a Human Resources or People Team
? Experience with HRIS and ATS systems; ideally Paylocity (strongly preferred)
? Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
? Proven experience in HR management or a related role
? Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
? Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
? Demonstrated leadership abilities and team management skills
? SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
