Job Description:
The role as business unit manager is to develop and communicate the vision and expectation levels to unit members. The strategy must be reliant upon the strategic direction of corporate vision and company goals. In this position the person will select, coach, and retain qualified staff that contribute to the unit and company goals. The ability to communicate and work with company managers and departments is critical. The position requires the ability to run and interpret various reports on a regular basis to keep the company lean and profitable. The key objective to this position is to assist the expansion and growth of the business unit within its market region while maintaining service excellence and profitability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Incorporate and maintain the USC policies and ISO 13485 procedures into the business unit operations
- Monitor and review company’s project activities and ensure that they are brought to completion within a scheduled period and budget.
- Provide effective management to organization’s business activities that have to do with its strategic and financial growth for the Business Unit.
- Establish and manage current customer relationships, striving to capitalize on organic growth opportunities.
- Maintain effective relationships with partner OEMs
- Perform efficient financial management for the Business Unit.
- Perform review of parts and system inventories to assure the Business Unit remains effective, profitable and competitive.
- Ensure harmonious work environment.
- Responsible for training and mentoring staff; motivating them all for effective performance for the general growth of the Business Unit.
- Contribute to the business unit’s strategies for promotional activities.
- Coordinate with other teams and Business Units within USC, including the marketing team to develop plans for launching of new products, campaigns and services.
- Develop and communicate the expectation levels and vision of the company to members of unit relevant to the USC’s corporate vision and goals.
- Perform / Monitor day-to-day administrative tasks as needed, such as processing metrics, timesheets, car logs, etc… needed to manage the company.
- Establish Business Unit as a center of excellent for specified product and service technologies.
- Actively perform service and maintenance at key accounts as the Business Unit grows.
- Full responsibility for the Business Units Profit & Loss (P&L) statement.
- Engage in cost management activities

- Understand work flows and be able to communicate them
- Occasional to travel. Periodic travel to meet with OEM’s, other Business Units, and participate in periodic training and meetings at USC headquarters. Travel to meet with customers as well.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Equivalent Industry Experience.
- Direct experience in any of the following areas: Project Management, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Sales and Contracts, Service
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or business community
- Ability to effectively present information to top management
