In this role, you will manage daily manual and clerical duties associated with the receipt of materials and supplies, as well as the shipment of company products and materials. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments.
- Respond to customer inquiries and refer clients to the appropriate channels.
- Review purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
- Make special shipping arrangements as necessary.
- Prepare bills and invoices.
- Manage distribution and shipment budgets.
- Ensure that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 5 years prior experience with power tools and standard construction tools.
- 5 years prior experience with Powered Industrial Trucks, such as forklifts, order pickers, and powered pallet jacks.
- Effective communication skills, including writing, speaking, and interpersonal communication.
- Quick critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent customer service and client relations skills.
- Good collaboration and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced data analysis and data visualization skills.
- Proficiency in using computers, software, and other technology for inventory and communication purposes.
- Understanding of the supply chain, including common obstacles and effective solutions.
