This role is responsible for prospecting to expand UMB’s commercial card client base and sell deeper into existing client relationships needing card programs. Specific duties include cold call on clients to target and build opportunities for commercial card solutions; Form deal teams to solve complex client needs and issues; Influence and enrich the sales process through industry trend analysis, product innovation, and consultative relationship reviews; Execute strategic market-based sales plan to target prospects and existing customers; Achieve annual performance metrics for new business sales, call expectations, and retention of strategic client relationships; Manage pipeline for accuracy and ensure activities are entered into CRM on a weekly basis; Represent Commercial Card in internal and external settings; Build brand awareness; Other duties as assigned.
