Lead role that provides general administrative support to existing Corporate Trust clients Support one or more dedicated Relationship Managers with a full load of clients and transactions Works with the Relationship Managers to facilitate setup of fee accounts, ensure proper invoicing, and relevant collection activities Capable of resolving intermediate administrative issues and providing support to client staff, including some non-routine support Provide overall assistance to the Relationship Management team, which may include, but is not limited to; account set-ups, processing incoming and outgoing mail, compiling performance data, record keeping, maintenance and updates to systems, fee coordination, coordinating activities with operations staff, working with custodian banks and client staff, resolving administrative and operations problems, vaulting of assets, special projects Responds to client inquiries, answers questions regarding products and services Works with Relationship Managers or Legal on more intricate accounts and related items and assists with monitoring activities Work on more complex projects Lead or mentor new associates Participate in cross-training to learn other Corporate Trust roles and provide support, as needed Other duties as assigned Knowledge & Skills: MINIMUM: Demonstrates strong customer support skills with emphasis on being client focused Demonstrates ability to manage multiple projects and timelines Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail Demonstrates general knowledge of banking products and services Demonstrates the ability to be self-directed PREFERRED: Demonstrates broad knowledge of banking products and services Demonstrates knowledge of FAA Database Familiar with aviation and large ticket collateral review Knowledge of governing deal documents Requirements MINIMUM: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 2-4 years relevant experience PREFERRED: CCTS - Certified Corporate Trust Specialist or CTMC- Corporate Trust Master Certification UMB and its affiliates are committed to inclusion and diversity and provide employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including gender, pregnancy, sexual orientation, and gender identity), national origin, age, disability, military service, veteran status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.
