We’re longtime food industry veterans and some of the creative minds formerly behind Think Food Group, Union Market, and La Cosecha.

 

Job Summary

As the Marketing Manager, you will be a key driver in shaping and executing comprehensive marketing programming strategies for The Square in close partnership with and oversight from Tishman Speyer’s Marketing Director. This role demands a creative and strategic thinker with a deep understanding of consumer trends, a passion for creating unique experiences, and a proven track record in developing successful marketing campaigns. Important to this role is the ability to collaborate across departments to elevate The Square brand, drive foot traffic, and deliver memorable moments to our customers.

 

Responsibilities

 

Marketing Communications Strategy:

○     Develop and execute strategic marketing plans with a strong emphasis on promoting our F&B offerings and events.

○     Collaborate with the tenants & Unfold Hospitality to curate compelling and innovative F&B programs that align with market trends and customer preferences.

○     Lead the creation of marketing campaigns that enhance the visibility of The Square offerings, catering & events.


Digital Marketing and Social Media:

○     Oversee the digital marketing strategy in partnership with Tishman Speyer, ensuring a strong online presence that highlights The Square partners and events.

○     Develop engaging content for social media platforms in partnership with the PR Social Media partners, driving customer engagement and promoting viral marketing opportunities.


Programming Strategy and Management:

○     Lead the strategy, implementation and marketing efforts for special events, community programming, partnerships and product launches.

○     Collaborate with the events team on event operations.

○     Work closely with Events Director on event sales, with the goal to drive catering events.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:

○     Lead point on marketing team meetings, brainstorming and planning sessions.

■     Agenda management, scheduling meetings, circulating recaps

■     Project timelines and milestones

○     Work closely with the Events Director on calendar management.

○     Work closely with Unfold Hospitality and Tishman Speyer to align marketing strategies for F&B offerings and programming.

○     Collaborate with the Events Director and operations team to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives and events.


Analytics and Reporting:

○     Utilize data-driven insights to assess marketing campaign effectiveness and make strategic adjustments.

○     Provide monthly reports to the Unfold Hospitality and Tishman Speyer executive teams, demonstrating the impact of marketing initiatives and programming against business goals and objectives.


Brand Management Creative Oversight:

○     Ensure The Square brand is consistent and compelling across all channels, including tenant platforms.

○     Manage all graphic design and creative requests, briefing the graphic design team for all collateral.

○     Manage marketing content and copywriting for all assets

 

Qualifications

 

●     Proven experience (minimum 3 – 5 years) as a Marketing Manager, preferably within the food & beverage or retail industry.

●     Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and work well with a team.

●     Proficiency in digital marketing tools, analytics, and social media platforms.

●     Proficiency in Microsoft Office industry tools and Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Wordpress and Mailchimp.

●     Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

●     Exceptional organizational skills, problem-solving/situational management.

●     Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

●     Passion for creating outstanding customer experiences through marketing initiatives.

●     Willing and able to work both in an office setting and on the floor.

●     Comfortable using office and industry technology and applications.

●     Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
