Training Technician

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Work daily with cross-functional teams, curricula needs, aligning resources, deliverables, and schedules to facilitate successful training curricula.
  • Coordinate and/or provide departmental training.
  • Document and maintain training records and documents.
  • Assist in prioritizing projects and provide weekly updates to training manager.
  • Interact with others to coordinate and gather course content.
  • Ensure training goals (content/cost/timeline), and specific learning objectives are met.
  • Must be capable of managing constant and rapid changes. Must revise custom content due to changes or as guided by the functional department manager.
  • Must be capable of identifying constraints, problems, potential issues, and mitigate with effective solutions.
  • Positively coach, mentor and influence employees
  • Performs other duties as required and assigned.
  • Responsible for training employees on all shifts
  • Follow through with all training requests from start to finish and deliver on time for internal customers.


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing environment
  • Ability to effectively problem-solve using problem solving tools
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • 2 years working for Unified Brands is a plus
  • Must have strong computer skills and be proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Must have fundamental mathematical skills
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to read, write, verbalize and comprehend instructions and correspondence at the highest levels in the English language.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to team members.
  • Conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to read and maintain work documents, and procedures


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A high school diploma or GED is required and a related associate’s degree is a plus
  • Prior safety experience is a plus
