Human Resource Specialist/Recruiter
Terrell, TX

We are seeking a talented Human Resource Specialist/Recruitment professional that will provide a variety of support in functional areas of our human resource department, which include recruitment & employment and personnel recordkeeping, tracking of any sponsored employment for H1B. This person would be responsible for Job postings across our regions, answering questions from a job candidate that is inquiring about their interview status, the Human Resource Specialist/ Recruiter will be the primary go-to person for all staffing needs. Service support and driving human resources functional excellence by maintaining a positive HR presence throughout the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide first- line human resource recruitment support in a timely manner to all internal and external customers.
- Handle recruiting and staffing logistics including reviewing resumes to evaluate qualifications and eligibility of applicants, prescreening, and recruiting testing processes.
- Educate, communicate, and answer questions regarding any applicant inquiries.
- Responsible for Assisting with on-boarding newly hired employees to include completion of employment documents & new hire orientation, ensure timely and proper completion of I-9’s and E-Verify and auditing to ensure legal compliance.
- Maintain Recruitment Platforms i.e.: ZipRecruiter, indeed, career builder etc.
- Work with Hiring Managers to decide on qualifications for positions.
- Work with leadership to forecast recruitment needs.
- Educate, communicate, and answer questions related to company handbook policies and procedures to newly hired and current employees.
- Assist with open enrollment and maintaining providers web sites with changes and updates and communicating benefit information to employees.
- Assist with maintaining DMV records and scheduling safety training as needed.
- Assist in Working within the HRIS system to develop and maintain annual employee training database.
- Ensure data integrity in the HRIS systems and understand the impacts of the data for HR reporting.
- Serve as the central point of contact for all immigration matters including initiations and extensions of US non-immigrant and immigrant visas (H1B, PERM, I-40, Etc.)
- Work with the company’s external immigration law firm to ensure all renewals/ extensions are processed timely and that employees maintain valid immigration status.
- Coordinate and manage postings and ensure Public Access Files are fully compliant.
- Compile sensitive and confidential personnel statistics and prepare reports as requested.
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Assist the HR team with special projects when needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a minimum requirement of 2 years in a Human Resources or Recruiter role.
- Strong knowledge of VISA processes.
- Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge and experience with ADP Workforce Now a plus
- Must be success-driven and customer-focused.
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work in high stress, high demand environment.
- Must be a self- starter with ability to prioritize, handle multiple projects and work in a fast paced, team environment.

Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
