Marketing Director
Payce, a high-growth startup in the card-linked rewards space, is seeking a Marketing Director/Manager who will be responsible for shaping and executing both direct-to-consumer and partner marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities:
New Member Growth –
- Drive new memberships to the platform via marketing directly to consumers (B2C) and Channel Partners (B2B).
- Partner with Unifund Sales team in developing programs to promote the Payce platform as a tool for debt recovery in the Credit Issuing and Debt industry.
- Develop multichannel and segmented marketing strategies in communicating the platform benefits to a wide variety of consumers.
- Design, build, and maintain a social presence in conjunction with our media agency using paid and organic media.
- Develop a multichannel nurture strategy to grow leads into conversions.
- Plan and execute web, SEO/SEM, database marketing, and email marketing campaigns that include custom landing pages and creative content to drive new-user funnel.
- Measure and report performance of all digital campaigns against business goals, KPI’s and data to support our sales pipeline.
- Monitor and explore our competitive set for customer approaches and ideation to support marketing our unique selling proposition.
- Identify conversion points in the user journey, including drop-off points, and optimize user funnels.
Retain & Grow Earned Rewards for Existing Member Base –
- Nurture existing membership to increase cash back rewards and engagement with our merchant offerings. This will comprise segmented initiatives directed to members earning rewards for cash back and/or to paydown debt.
- Implement direct to member retention and cash back rewards growth strategies utilizing communication channels such as: Emails, push notifications, text marketing, voicemail drops, and other potential communication avenues for member retention and maximization of platform usage.
- Oversee growth strategies in the utilization of our D2C app.
- Ideate/create, develop, coordinate and execute campaigns in concert with merchants and other cash back providers.
- Plan, execute, and measure experiments, A/B tests, comparative analyses, and surveys to better optimize member engagement, generation of cash back rewards, pay9ing down debt and media effectiveness.
- Work with partners in multiple verticals, including financial, nonprofit, e-commerce, credit issuers, debt buyers, collection agencies and other industries to roll out and maintain marketing initiatives for their private-labeled reward program.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree, Masters degree, or commensurate marketing experience.
- Experience in a startup environment.
- Experience with loyalty marketing in the e-commerce space with proven expertise in marketing, preferable in an e-commerce or fintech startup.
- Utilize cost analyses, KPIs, financial modeling, data reporting, and budget management in the performance of their role.
- Experience in working with Creative, Digital and Marketing Agencies in managing campaigns and initiatives.
- Familiar with digital reporting tools, including Google Analytics / Firebase, Google and Meta ads, attribution analytics, and click analytics such as Kochava.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop for in-house creative.
- Understanding of Mailchimp campaigns, integrations, campaigns, and user management / segmentation.
- Work Location: Hybrid.
