What are the responsibilities and job description for the Imaging and Mail Assistant (Full-Time) position at Union Bank & Trust?
Position Summary: The Imaging and Mail Associate 1 sorts, opens, prepares and scans incoming mail. This professional also prepares welcome letters, checks, and confirmations letters for mailing and assist College Savings staff with their daily duties.
Hours: Full-Time (40 hours), Monday – Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Essential Functions:
- Sort, open, prepare and scan incoming mail for processing.
- Prepare mailings as well as sort, fold and insert into envelopes to ensure 100% compliance with state partners.
- Complete final review for distribution verification.
- Mail out all letters and distribution checks.
- Post checks to client’s accounts.
- Scan and balance imaged checks for data processing.
- Coding faxes, research, and mail back documents working from a queue.
- Prepare scan, and index various document types.
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
- Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws, and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training; follow internal processes and controls as required.
- Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies.
- Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong input accuracy skills –applicant is required to achieve a minimum accuracy score of a 90% with minimum keystrokes of 8500 on the alpha-numeric and minimum keystrokes of 7500 on 10-key Union Bank data input test to be considered.
- Database and Operations experience preferred.
- Knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing and database management software.
