Job Description
- the shift using a forklift, pallet jack, or manually safely and efficiently.
- Read/interpret shipping labels.
- Do daily dock checks to ensure all freight is accounted for.
- Hand load, rewrap or stack freight when necessary.
- Ensure items are packaged safely before shipping.
- Log any shortages or damages.
- Secure freight inside trailers using the appropriate tools and supplies.
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
- Perform work associated with warehousing, material handling, and other related duties as assigned.
- Will be cross-trained to use the Transportation Management System
Qualifications
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED certificate is preferred.
- Experience in a warehouse or shipping environment
- Forklift certification a plus
- Physical stamina
- Attention to Detail
- Basic math skills
- Basic Computer Literacy
- At least 18 years old
