United Collection Bureau, Inc. is immediately hiring Debt Collection Specialists for our Davie, FL office. As a Debt Collector, you will be responsible for contacting individuals and businesses to collect outstanding debts. Your role will involve analyzing accounts, negotiating payment arrangements, and providing excellent customer service. In order to prepare you for the role, we will provide you with a paid training in a classroom setting and then ongoing training to ensure your continued success with us. We are seeking a skilled Debt Collector to join our team.
Your specific duties will include:
- Handle inbound and outbound customer service calls regarding collections and billing inquiries.
- Review and analyze customer accounts
- Negotiate payment arrangements and set up repayment plans if the consumer cannot pay their balance in full.
- Maintain accurate records of all collection activities
- Provide exceptional customer service while handling sensitive financial matters
- Process payments and update account information accurately
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all customer interactions and transactions
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong math skills for accurate calculations
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
- Spanish speaking a plus
