Job Summary:
The Human Resources Administrative Assistant will perform a variety of clerical, recordkeeping, and customer service tasks to assist with the smooth operation of the organization. Assists members of the Human Resources Department when needed.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Break down physical employee files, scan and save to electronic employee files. Ensures filing is done properly.
- Handling mail collection and disbursing to proper members of the HR Department.
- Listens to and files employee call-off line information twice a day.
- Performs customer service functions by forwarding employee requests and questions to appropriate members of the HR Department Team.
- Complete Employee Verification Requests.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Assist the HR Recruiter with various aspects of the recruiting process, including new hire orientation and scanning and filing new hire paperwork, etc.
- Assist HR Director with various research projects and/or special projects.
- Seek continuous improvement in processes.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Basic understanding of office equipment.
- Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
- Ability to work independently and identify and solve problems.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work.
- Know relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Maintain confidentiality while assisting employees.

Education and Experience:
- High school Diploma or Equivalent required.
- 1 year of clerical work experience preferred.
PhysicalRequirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
