What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Advisor position at UNITED COMMUNITY BANK?
The Client Advisor is responsible for and empowered to customize financial solutions to meet the individual needs of personal and corporate clients. Manages client portfolios through an in-depth understanding of the client and their needs then offering a comprehensive range of banking, wealth management and risk management solutions. This would include, but not limited to, making loans, obtaining deposits accounts, selling cash management services, introducing wealth management as well as other bank services. Responsible for accomplishing revenue production goals through client service and adhering to policies and procedures.
Major Position Functions
May include but not limited to
- Build relationships with clients
- Supports strategic goals of the Bank
- Business development through ethical selling of needs based and product neutral services
- Active management of client portfolios by anticipating future needs and periodically reassessing current needs as changes dictate
- Negotiating rates and working with various departments to meet client needs
- Compassionate sense of urgency toward client needs/requests providing timely, attentive and friendly service
- Engage needed talent within organization to meet client needs
- Stay current on trends and developments in the market and industry
- Ensures compliance with all state, federal, and banking laws and regulations

Knowledge & Experience
- Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial information
- Tenured in market experience in private banking, commercial lending, corporate banking, securities or investments
- Strong understanding of industry laws and regulations
- Minimum of a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to interact with all levels of the organization
- Strong self management and time management skills
