This is a full-time position, located in Orlando, FL.
Imaging Technician
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for successfully deploying software OS installation and configurations on customer devices, following procedures outlined in
- UDT work orders to meet customer software servicing needs.
- Accountable for quality control levels and accuracy of devices imaged prior to leaving for the next designated department for continued services.
- Responsible for providing reporting and updates to shift Supervisors and Managers as it relates to order or project progress, any challenges or obstacles facing the imaging team or process and maintaining the integrity of inventory movements in and out of the department.
- Responsible for proper communication with the Imaging Lead or Warranty Supervisor to improve automated quality control checks, overcome stoppages in the imaging or configuration process due to system failure, and identifying risks within the process to effective completion of daily imaging work.
- Level 2 troubleshooting of devices to verify physical hardware operability, as well as cataloging and identifying physical defects, power issues, or visible damages for customer product and reporting them to the proper department for remediation.
- Responsible for the proper communication of issues to engineering support.
Qualifications
- High School Degree or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in warehouse and/or production environments and systems OR
- A combination of education and experience of equivalent time frame demonstrating similar skillsets applicable for the above listed responsibilities
- Demonstrated knowledge and comfortability working with computer systems and hardware, along with basic understanding of computer operating system concepts.
- Ability to work standing and bending for full shift, performing repetitive load/unload procedures during peak volume days.
- Strong Process Orientation and Attention to Detail.
- Ability to Read, Analyze and understand work order workflows and instructions.
- Exceptional level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently without direct, constant management.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions to interact with live computer system and power/networking components.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Ability to work independently without direct, constant management.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and inform the imaging lead or warranty supervisor.
- Ability to confidently operate laptop, desktop and tablet computers.
- Ability to discern instructions from workflows and work orders to execute desired outcomes.
- Ability to work assigned shift hours, weekends, and at times into the later hours of the day as per business needs
- Must be able to physically lift weight up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to read and understand English instructions.
