Plant Manager || Asphalt Emulsions Plant
Compensation: $85,000 to $100,000 per year || Benefits
Location: Pacific Northwest
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Asphalt Plant Manager (Emulsions) for our client in the Pacific Northwest. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient daily operations of the plant, maintaining inventory levels to meet customer demand, and executing any additional duties assigned by the Operations Manager.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Enforce Safety Policies and Procedures to ensure a secure working environment for all employees.
- Oversee the daily operations of the asphalt emulsions plant, including production, maintenance, and quality control.
- Manage inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing waste and optimizing efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to develop and implement strategies for improving plant performance and profitability.
- Communicate effectively with staff to address any issues or concerns and provide regular updates on plant operations.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies.
- Train and develop plant personnel to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager or senior management.
Qualifications:
- Preferred - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in plant management, preferably in the asphalt emulsions industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
