What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian/Sanitation position at UNITED FACILITIES?
Inspects, cleans, and sweeps/mops interior warehouse perimeter daily.
- Empties all trash hoppers, receptacles, and checks compactor and broom stations.
- Inspects and cleans truck dock areas and exterior of buildings as needed.
- Cleans outside entrance area, employee break rooms, hallway, warehouse restrooms and front offices.
- Cleans out all dock wells and truck levelers.
- Ensures scrubber is operational to execute cleaning program as scheduled.
- Cleans/Blows out debris from under induction points, woodpecker, etc.
- Dusts fire extinguishers, fire hoses, and cages.
- Inspects fans/vents and cleans, as necessary.
- Inspects building for cobwebs and removes as necessary.
- Cleans eye wash stations.
- Reports any observed product damage or evidence of rodent activity to Team Lead.
- Completes inspection/sanitation logs and any corrective actions; files monthly sanitation/facility audits.
- Monitors inventory levels of cleaning supplies, submitting resupply orders to management as needed.
