Summary Keeps records of financial transactions for establishment by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Verifies, allocates, and posts details of business transactions to subsidiary accounts in journals or computer files from documents such as sales slips, invoices, receipts, and computer reports.
- Summarizes details in separate ledgers or computer files.
- Bank statement reconciliation.
- Compiles reports to show statistics such as cash receipts and expenditures, profit and loss, and other items pertinent to operation of business.
- Prepares tax returns.
- Process accounts receivable.
- Maintain various tracking files in Excel.
- Cash posting and receipt generation
Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft software and Accounting software.
Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisor responsibilities.
