Job Title : Supervisor of Medical Billing

Location : Homer, AK

Company : United Healthcare System

Job Type : Permanent

Salary : $34.00 - $50.00 per hour

Shift : Day shift

Responsibilities :

Requirements :

• The Billing Specialist Supervisor position requires the minimum of a high school diploma.
• Higher education such as an associated or bachelor's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Commercial, Medicaid, Medicare Part B / Primary Care billing, required.
• Minimum 3 years of healthcare experience and a minimum of 3 years of leading a medical billing team, required.
• A certification in billing from the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), or the Practice Management Institute (PMI) is required.
