Main Focus:
Manufacturing and blending product to meet customer demands. Functional areas may include packing, B-2 (wetroom), and ribbon blender.
Accountabilities:
- Packing/palletizing
- Labeling
- Scanning
- Completion of paperwork
- Manufacture of organic peroxides
- Blending of product in ribbon blender
Responsibilities:
- Set-up and tend automatic mixing and pack-out machine
- Loads ingredients into mixing machines and reactors from bulk tanks and drums in all buildings.
- Start machines and adjust valves to admit raw materials or cooling fluids into mixing chamber to aid in blending
- Operate machine until batch reaches desired specification and turns lever to unload mixture into containers
- Operates auxiliary equipment to prepare mixture for final processing
- Fill containers with product
- Select and apply proper labels
- Utilize lift equipment
- Clean for changeover
- Completes paperwork regarding the process of the finished products (batch sheets), set up printer and print labels, and utilize ERP system to scan in labels for inventory management
- Perform housekeeping duties
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must meet fit to work policy
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays and OT
- Must have basic math skills
- Be able to lift 55 lbs on a regular basis, at times be able to lift 110 lbs, be able to exert 100 lbs of force occasionally
- Pass employment physical including ability to stand, overhead reach, walk, push, stoop, climb, crouch, kneel, pull, hear, talk, see, grasp, sit, and carry.
- High school degree or GED
- Fluent in English – reading and writing
- Must be able to distinguish color
- Ability to wear a respirator and other PPE
- Applicants must pass a background check, physical and drug screen. EOE
