Jr. Account Sales Executive
The Junior Account Sales Executive is responsible for supporting the Sales Director or Account Sales Executive. This position supports the account management and sales initiatives as delegated by their Sales Director /Account Sales Executive. The Junior Account Sales Executive position is expected to have a full understanding of the goals and knowledge of the business operations and act as the Account Sales Executive in the absence of the Sales Director or Account Sales Executive should the need arise.
Essential Functions (Including but not limited to):
- Meeting Preparation: running relevant inventories and seasonal forecasts, preparing showroom with sample representation, and prepare in-season pricing opportunities.
- Run daily open order/NSR reports to ensure orders are aligned to inventory and ready to ship dates
- Work with production to ensure that goods are arriving on time and in full to fulfill order.
- Maintain a working knowledge and ownership of customer specific requirements for ticketing routing and other account needs.
- Continually keep an open line of communication of the status of the order with the external buying teams
- Create Art Requests for CAD Boards to be created and send to the proper merchandising teams.
- Create imagery request sheets and include required specs.
- Send Imagery and CAD Boards to buyers to ensure they have a proper representation of the product
- Upload all imagery to the retailer’s portals
- Complete and manage customer item set up sheet templates.
- Matching customer specific buys/bulks against the projection given to planning
- Attend internal meetings with other departments such as Production, Planning and Merchandising to support the order and product assortments.
- Perform market visits as directed to create competitive analysis
- Perform any other duties as assigned in support of the company needs and operations.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business sales or marketing or other related field and 4 years professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office specifically Excel and Powerpoint.
- Excellent written and verbal skills as required for effective interpersonal communication.
- Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks and workload seamlessly and follow-up.
- Strong business judgement and sense of urgency and can work independently under critical time frames and work on multiple assignments.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret data and draw valid conclusions that show understanding and insight with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to be extremely flexible and adaptable in completing a diverse range of assignments in a timely manner and adaptable to change and have the ability to prioritize projects and workload.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and ability to apply good work habits to effectively complete assigned tasks and contribute to the smooth operation of the company/department.
- Willingness to attend professional work dinners and events when presented.
Salary: $65,000 - $85,000
