As a Scaffold Supervisor at United Rentals, you will supervise and assist the Scaffold Builder I & Scaffold Builder II in building, moving and dismantling scaffolding. You will also assist with swing stage, and mast climber jobs in a safe, efficient manner while abiding with all Osha/Ansi regulations. You will also be accountable for work site documentation including crew time sheets, per job JHA, inspection reports, Contractors Acceptance of Service, Extra Work Authorizations, Delivery and Pickup Tickets for each job.

Additional duties include the following:
Read plans and drawings, understand the scope of work and apply the layout to the builds, and keep costs within the given gross margin
Responsible for all inventory of material at the job sites
Perform job in a safe manner following United Rentals policy and Osha/Ansi regulations
Ensure all PPE & Fall Protection is being worn by all employees at all jobs and United Rentals Yard
Support all aspects of sales and customer service to ensure world-class service and operational excellence, including communications with customer, OSR, E&D Operations Mgr, and Branch Mgr.
Motivate, coach and train personnel
Responsible for employee communication and satisfaction, ensure compliance with processes and policies and provide guidance and coaching where needed
Responsible for helping to resolve issues where staff needs assistance – following the established escalation process
Promote a culture of safety and discipline through leadership, exemplary personal compliance, accountability and communication
Collaborate with all Safety officials and corporate management to ensure the support of prescribed safety programs, including audits, safety training, OSHA compliance, and DOT regulations
Other duties assigned as needed
Job Requirements:
Bachelors Degree preferred
Minimum 3 years of scaffold experience or equivalent construction experience
Supervision and leadership experience (2 years) preferred
Understanding of accounting and P&L concepts preferred
Equipment rental experience
Demonstrate ability to motivate and influence others
Proficient in most Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel)
Teamwork focused and trade area oriented
Performance Management, Coaching, and Conflict Resolution Skills
Receptive to change – Change agent
Must possess strong organizational and delegation skills
Strong leadership and communication skills
Valid driver's license
